Portrait photography is supposed to show you in the best light. So why do some pictures look posed and false?

Usually it is because the subject is uncomfortable in the strange and unfamiliar surroundings. To get round this we will come to you to take the photos, or we can go to your favourite location, park, etc. Additional costs may apply if you want to be photographed in an hotel or other venue.

We will do our utmost to create a friendly atmosphere with plenty of time to let the younger ones have some fun. If this is not suitable, we can go to a park or favourite spot to take the photos.

Adults too feel uncomfortable and we always say that the first 15 minutes or so are just to let us get to know each other and help you relax and have a laugh. You will be amazed at the difference between the early photos of the session and those taken towards the end.

We want you to be happy and come away with photos that you are excited about and want to have framed and mounted on the wall or give as presents to your loved ones.

We pride ourselves on being friendly and adaptable with all of our clients, from days old babies to senior citizens. Many of our clients have commented on how nice and friendly we are and expressed surprise that we are so relaxed and ready to bring out the fun side of the session. We want you to experiment and have lots of fun.

You will be able to wear several changes of clothing (casual, or the latest fashions, it’s up to you). Choose what you feel is right and portrays the image you want to be photographed in. If you wish we can also arrange for a hair and makeup stylist to be on hand to make you look polished and beautiful, help with styling and arranging clothing to portray you in the best way.

We always allow at least an hour for each of our sessions, so that you have time to relax, have fun and enjoy the experience.
